perinatal therapy - for individuals and couples

As a certified perinatal mental health clinician (PMH-C), I offer weekly therapy sessions for individuals and couples who are becoming parents. During the pregnancy period and postpartum, there is a lot to sort through practically, logistically as well as emotionally for both parents. It is a vulnerable time, with so much newness to contend with: biological changes and discomforts, uncertainty, high demands, constant changes with your baby, new relationship stressors, identity shifts and societal pressures. It can be hard to find your footing as a new parent. I help create an ongoing space to slow down, reconnect with your needs as they change and shift over this turbulent period.

postpartum family check-ups

These monthly, in-person sessions take place during the first 6 months of postpartum and include parents and baby. This is an alternative to weekly couples or individual therapy that offers the new family a place to receive practical and emotional support during this turbulent time.
